Occasionally youíll run across recipes that call for Dried Orange Peel, or similar.
Powdered cappuccino mix is a good example.
Hereís how you make dried lemon peel
Skin the lemon, and place the clean, rinsed peel in a plastic container, without a lid:
Pop the container, still without a lid, into the freezer compartment of your refrigerator.
The freezer will sublimate the water from the peel, leaving you with dried peel, or very nearly.
Itís a relatively fast way to remove water from any sort of vegetable flesh.
