Vermicomposting –Bin V006

This began as “ European Night-Crawlers ” on Sunday, July 31, 2011.

I wanted to compare breeding and digestive rates of European Night Crawlers to red Wrigglers.

Yep! That’s a red Wriggler scurrying away from the mung bean sprout, centre of the pail.

Some castings are evident, but not as many as in the Euros pail. That might be because this pail started two or three weeks later.
