the theory goes, the eggs and wormlets will basically eat themselves to death over a period of several months and deliver to me a jug full of dried granular castings.

I had sieved another batch of material, left the fines out overnight on a black plastic sheet.

This morning I teased about two dozen worms out of that, then used the fines and any micro-worms or eggs to top up my bin V005.

I can’t fit more in.

I added a 1lb tub of water to it.

The material was dry.

I spotted maybe 6 worms in all.

I added 1 cup water and 20 worms.
