Lunch’nLearn’nEARN!
- Are you in a position to get a bunch of people together at lunchtime?
- Does your organization have a favourite charity?
- Is this the most amazing offer you’ve had in the past 15 minutes?
If you answered YES to all three questions, then read on.
Otherwise stop reading now; you’ll only be wasting your own time.
(I’ve already spent my time writing this.)
Lunch’n’Learn ought to be where you go to sit and listen, or discuss, with a sandwich in one hand and a drink in the other.
And you should be rewarded for your time with some valuable knowledge that you would not otherwise have gained.
That’s Lunch’n’Learn as you know it.
Lunch’n’Learn as I know it addresses the issue that most consultants won’t admit – that delivering a Lunch’n’Learn is at best an introduction to the consultant as a personality, and at worst an outright sales promotion.
So I have decided to treat Lunch’n’Learn as a sales promotion, and while there isn’t any structure in place for the consultant to pay the client, there is an opportunity for me to donate some money to your organization’s favorite charity as my way of saying Thank You for inviting me.
