Excel Professional – Design of Parameters

Above is an overview of my parameter sheet.

I have tried to group the parameters by the type of service they perform. Thus under “Supplies” I have set the cost, per person, of lunch, dinner, and snacks.

I decided that I would use a general average figure for federal and provincial taxes – you win some you lose some – and likewise an overall figure for gratuities.

You can see some corrections. Corrections on paper are easy, because nothing deopends on their changed value. Corrections on a computer are costly, because they need to be checked, and new references need to be made. For each change.
