PrtScr - Snapshot the Screen to the Clipboard

This has to be the best trick to dumbfound your technical support guys - the ones who tell you that “it just can’t happen”.

Next time it happens, tap the PrtScr key on your keyboard (usually near the top-right of the layout).

Open up MSPaint.

Choose Edit, Paste and watch your screen snapshot, with the incriminating evidence appear.

Save your paint file as a JPG file (takes less space than a BMP, especially handy if you are going to email it), then call Tech Support.

PrtScr of a problem is a good thing to do for nice helpful guys like me.

When the application fails, take a screen snapshot and attach it to your email. That will help me identify, and hence solve, the problem faster. That’s got to be good for you.

Oh yes. It’s also good if you want to illustrate some good course material.
