How many second-uses can you see in this image?

Second Use (1): The white tray is half of a take-home box from The Montreal Deli .

Second Use (2): The plant plot was salvaged from the local dumpster.

Second Use (3): The clear plastic bag brought a Van Heusen shirt home from the Factory Outlet Mall in Niagara Falls.

Second Use (4): The plant label is 1/3 of a CD that is unplayable.

Second Use (5): The soil is from my vermicomposted kitchen scraps.

Second Use (6): The water in the soil is from my grey-water pail. (OK, so you can’t SEE the water but you know it’s there)

Second Use (7): The lemon segment you can’t see. It is buried in the soil. It once adorned a glass of water at The Montreal Deli .

Second Use (8): The black plastic garbage bag was used to take clothes to Youth Without Shelter .

Second Use (9): The white plastic sheet which serves as a tablecloth was once a banner for the Society of Internet Professionals .

In fact, about the only thing in the photo that has not seen a prior use is today’s date.

So remember, you only get to live this day ONCE!
