A Vibrating Propped Rack

With the propped rack at work, we could mount a vibrating engine on the top of the upper-end of the frame and see its effect on improving sieving on a shallow-angled rack

A Vibrating Hand Rack

We should glance at each published sieve for ideas. I came across this video the day after I mused on mounting a vibrator on a propped sieve. Hybrid sieves may be the best way to test an idea for another sieve engine.

I think of the image above as “A hand sieve mounted on a vibrating table”. The table’s vibrating rack holds wooden rails and the hand sieve has wheels (circled) which run on the rails.

The trolley can be tipped and emptied – once the tail-gate is removed from the right-hand end.
