The Crane Game

So there I was, strolling in shirtsleeves (and trousers!) down to an excellent lunch with Arlene, and down there on Queens Quay at Jarvis, as I approached George Brown College I spotted four cranes.

I whipped out my computer/camera and snapped a hot, which you see above,

Then I swiveled around to see what I could see.

Hallelujah! Another five of Ďem!

Observations

I have long complained about the Dearth and the Death of Trees in Downtown Toronto.

I have had a revelation!

There are trees of a semi-decent size on the streets in downtown Toronto.

Itís just that the trees of a decent size are all doing very well, thank you, on Private Property.

Itís the trees growing enclosed in Concrete and Plastic on the Toronto City Sidewalks that arenít doing so well.

That is, Toronto City Council doesnít have a clue how to grow a tree.

Something that trees have been doing for the best part of the past billion years, all by themselves.
