Free Ice Cream

Ice cream is a disgusting dessert; it cripples the diet, brings on lethargy, and is the cause of more time wasted watching movies than is popcorn.

Worse, if your room mate brings a four-liter tub home and stashes it in the freezer, you know that it is there for a purpose, such as a party a few days down the road, and scooping ice-cream before the party is a serious no-no.

Here’s the solution:

Let’s start with the tub as discovered in the freezer:

Place the tub on the kitchen counter, and be ready with a large dinner plate and a small bowl. Or two small bowls if two of you are pulling this stunt. Or one large bowl if the other guy chickens out.

Remove the lid from the tub.

Place the large dinner plate upside down above the opened tub.

Invert the combination and wait 60 seconds for the contents of the tub to slide free.

Remove the bucket.

DO NOT THROW IT AWAY AT THIS STAGE!

Scoop some ice-cream from what used to be the bottom of the block.

Try not to giggle while you are doing this.

Replace the bucket over the block of ice-cream.

Flip the combination upright.

Remove the plate.

Replace the lid.

And shove the bucket of ice-cream back where you found it.

Enjoy!

Yum!
