How to Smuggle Fentanyl Across the Border (of any two countries in either direction)

For over a century, a U.S.-Canada cross-border library used a single entrance. Now, the U.S. says Canadians must build their own

Please note that “build their own” here means “build their own entrance” to an existing library.

There is no suggestion that Canadians must build their own library in Haskell . ( I note with interest that when I search for Haskell in Google Maps it pops up without a state, province, or country abbreviation.

The Haskell Free Library was built purposely straddling the border “to encourage cooperation between the border towns”.

Back then people KNEW that education was much more important than petty politics.

Times have changed, and now Canadians must build their own entrance. Why isn’t it the American Citizens who must provide their own entrance?

When I found Haskell in Google Maps, I was struck by the number of settlements, houses with backyards, and lonely stretches of roadway either side of the Canada/US border.

I found myself wondering why any serious smuggler of Fentanyl would use the library (“Shhhhhh!”) as an exchange house in full view of snoopy readers.

Why nit just head half a kilometres out of town and fly a cheap drone across the border?

Now there are spots – this one at 3870 N Derby Road – with copses and forests either side of the road. Coordinate your date and time and way you go.

How is a separate entrance to a Free Public Library going to solve a smuggling problem?
